Smoke-Free Philadelphia
In January 2007, the Clean Indoor Air Worker Protection Law went into effect, banning smoking in Philadelphia’s restaurants, bars, and workplaces and creating a healthy environment for workers and their customers. The law also prohibits smoking in outdoor seating areas and patios of restaurants and bar, and within twenty feet of commercial building entrances.
This video presents just a few of the many restaurant workers in Philadelphia for whom the law has had a direct and positive impact on their experience at work and on their health.
